About ArtNest Studio

The Story Behind ArtNest Studio

Where Art Finds Meaning in the Unordinary

ArtNest Studio began with a simple idea: art does not always begin with a blank canvas. Sometimes, it begins with something that already has a story.

For Quddus Mohammed, materials carry memories. A piece of leather, a sheet of hammered metal, recycled paper, wood, fabric, or an ordinary discarded object can hold marks of time and experience. Instead of hiding those imperfections, he allows them to become part of the artwork. Through color, texture, imagination, and experimentation, something familiar is transformed into something new.

Our Mission

The mission of ArtNest Studio is to create art that goes beyond appearance—to create work that invites people to pause, look again, and discover meaning.

ArtNest Studio is a place where material becomes memory, color becomes emotion, and everyday objects become a language of expression. Each collection explores a different part of the human experience: what remains after an ending, the freedom to be oneself, and the quiet space we need to reconnect with who we are.

The Artist - Quddus Mohammed

Based in the United States, Quddus Mohammed is a Writer, Poet, Lyricist & Artist whose creative journey has never been limited to one form of expression. His writing and poetry naturally found their way into his visual art, creating a practice where words, materials, color, and ideas exist together.

His art reflects a restless eye—one that continues to observe ordinary things and ask what else they might become. His work is influenced by life, memory, relationships, solitude, human dignity, and the continuous process of becoming.

How Each Piece Is Created

Every artwork at ArtNest Studio begins with an idea, a feeling, a material—or sometimes simply a moment of curiosity.

The process is intentionally experimental. Materials are selected not only for their appearance but for the history and character they already possess. Leather may become a surface for a portrait. Hammered metal may retain its dents and texture. Recycled materials may become part of a composition rather than being discarded. Layers of acrylic, oil, specialty paints, texture, and color are gradually added, changed, removed, and rebuilt.

There is no fixed formula.

The artwork develops through a conversation between the artist and the material. Sometimes the original idea remains intact; sometimes the material leads the artist in an entirely different direction. What begins as an experiment can become a finished work with its own identity and story.

That is the spirit of ArtNest Studio:

Take what already exists. See it differently. Give it new meaning.

And perhaps, in the process, discover something new about ourselves.
