The artwork presents the human face as a landscape of memory, identity, and transformation. One side appears carefully constructed from fragments of leather, each piece carrying its own texture, color, and history, while the other emerges in bold geometric forms, suggesting the visible self we present to the world. Between fragmentation and wholeness, the face becomes a quiet meditation on how identity is formed, not from a single image, but from the many experiences, choices, wounds, and memories we carry. Created on canvas with an acrylic-painted background, leather, and specialty leather paint, the work transforms an unconventional material into a portrait of the human story: fragmented, complex, and yet somehow whole.
